Gummies
Vegan and sugar-free capable UK gummy manufacturer
Pectin-based (vegan by default), sugar-free capable, designed for performance and scalability. From 1,000 units per SKU.

Capability
Pectin-based, vegan by default
We manufacture high-quality, vegan gummies using pectin-based formulations, designed for both performance and scalability. Our gummy line runs on a pectin base: plant-derived, vegan by default, and compatible with halal, kosher, vegetarian and allergen-sensitive markets. Gelatin-based gummies are available on request, but we default to pectin because modern retail buyers prefer it.
Our capability spans 2.5g to 6g per piece, with both off-the-shelf moulds and fully bespoke mould options available for brands seeking visual differentiation. All formulations utilise natural flavours and colours, with a focus on compliant, retail-ready products.
Sweetener systems span full-sugar, reduced-sugar and sugar-free formulations (stevia, allulose, maltitol and erythritol all supported). We build each flavour from the ground up, matching your target sensory profile (berry, citrus, tropical, stone-fruit, custom) and validating stability across your intended shelf life.
Manufactured in our BRCGS AA* certified facility, gummies can be packed into pouches or PET containers in a range of formats, including 30, 60, 90 and 120 piece units, as well as bulk supply. Active load is formulation-dependent: taste masking, colour stability and moisture control are non-trivial at retail scale, and our NPD pathway validates each before we commit to production.

Format fit
Gummies are the right format if...
Gummies are the fastest-growing delivery format in supplements for a reason: consumer preference. Shoppers who won't swallow a capsule will happily chew a gummy. If your target market skews family, kids, wellness-curious, or DTC-led, gummies almost always outperform capsules on repeat purchase.
Choose gummies when consumer experience and brand differentiation matter more than dose precision. Choose gummies over powders when you want a no-mix, no-measure format. Gummies aren't the right format for every active: high-dose herbal extracts often taste-mask better in capsules, and fat-soluble actives may need a liquid oil carrier.
- Your target market prefers consumer-friendly formats
- You're targeting kids, family, or wellness-curious buyers
- You want strong visual brand differentiation (colour, shape, mould)
- Your actives tolerate sugar-free sweetener systems
- You're building a DTC or e-commerce-led brand

Process
From brief to pallet: the gummy pathway
1. Brief and feasibility. Send us your flavour profile, sweetener preference, active load, and target market. We check feasibility, mould options, and Novel Foods status if relevant. First response within 48 hours.
2. NPD and formulation. Gummy NPD typically runs 6 to 10 weeks because flavour and sweetener iteration is the slow step. You approve sensory, texture, and stability at each sampling round.
3. Sampling. Pilot batches for sensory, stability, colour, and claims validation before committing to production.
4. Manufacture. Production under BRCGS AA* controls on our dedicated pectin gummy line, with in-process QC and full batch traceability.
5. Pack and finish. In-line bottling, labelling, tamper-evidence, cartons and outers. Your gummies leave here retail-ready.
6. Despatch. Palletised delivery to your 3PL, distribution centre, or warehouse, with the full documentation pack retail buyers ask for.

Gummy manufacturing FAQs
Common questions from brands looking at UK gummy production.
What's the MOQ for gummy manufacturing in the UK?
1,000 units per SKU standard. Custom moulds carry a one-off tooling cost quoted during NPD; once paid, reorders run at the same 1,000-unit minimum.
Are your gummies vegan?
Yes. Our default base is pectin, which is plant-derived and vegan. Gelatin-based gummies are available if your market specifically requires them, but we recommend pectin for most retail contexts; consumer preference has shifted heavily toward vegan formats.
Can you make sugar-free gummies?
Yes. We support stevia, allulose, maltitol, and erythritol sugar-free systems, plus reduced-sugar formulations. Each sweetener profile has different sensory and stability implications: we'll guide the choice during NPD.
What's the difference between gelatin and pectin gummies?
Pectin is plant-derived (vegan, halal, kosher, vegetarian) and has a slightly softer bite. Gelatin is bovine-derived, chewier, and typically slightly cheaper per unit. Active stability and sensory profile differ; we test both during NPD when there's no clear market-positioning reason to pick one.
Do you do custom mould shapes?
Yes. Custom moulds are a one-off tooling cost (quoted during NPD). Stock mould options (bears, stars, rounds, hearts) are available at no tooling cost for brands that want to launch quickly.
How long does gummy NPD take?
Gummy NPD typically runs 6 to 10 weeks because flavour and sweetener iteration is the slow step. Once the formulation is locked, production lead time is 6 to 8 weeks.
Can you handle Novel Foods ingredients in gummies?
Yes. We hold multiple Novel Foods dossiers. Brands developing gummies with adaptogens, peptide actives, or emerging botanicals can often work under our authorisation. We check at NPD feasibility stage.
What claims can I make on functional gummies?
UK/EU claims regulation is strict. We validate claims feasibility during NPD: EFSA health claim rules, market-specific disclosures, and Novel Foods permissions. If a claim isn't supportable, we tell you before you commit.
Are your gummies BRCGS certified?
Yes. BRCGS AA*, the top available grade. Most UK gummy manufacturers are BRCGS but don't publish their grade.
